Ooh, boy. This is one of those projects I think every writer has. The one they know they shouldn’t really be spending time on, but they just can’t let it lie.
In it’s time, this has been a single book, then a duology, and now it’s something a lot more fluid. Possibly a series of novellas and short stories that could be collected together to tell the overall story of my Skyship officer Mehgan Eldrin and her found family of crew members, fellow sailors and one stray prince.
The first novella-length part of the saga is called The Last Flight of the Sparrow, and despite all my better judgement, it’s going to be my NaNoWriMo project for 2019. Wish me luck!
